How many members of staff can attend a workshop/ training?

For training to be most effective and interactive, we would suggest no more than 50 attendees at any workshop. However, if you require more, please contact us to discuss your needs.

What workshop/ training packages do you offer?

Do you offer 1:1 coaching for employees?

Yes. These can be extremely beneficial to help members of staff who are having problems at work or home.

Do you offer 1:1 coaching for members of the public?

Yes. With years of experience in Positive Psychology, we have helped many private clients to overcome problems, relating to anxiety, stress, depression, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS / ME) to live better lives.

Are 1:1 sessions confidential?

Yes, face to face sessions between us are confidential. The only time confidentiality is broken is if you were to indicate you might harm yourself or someone else. This information is made clear before the session starts.

Do you run workshops/ training online?

Yes. Online sessions are are just as effective as our in-person training.

Do you run sessions that are shorter than half a day?

Yes. Our half day and 1 day workshops can be broken down into smaller sessions if it suits you better. Please contact us to discuss.

We also offer online 1 hour or lunch time sessions in: Relaxation, meditation, self-hypnosis and de-stress techniques. These can be done at the attendee's work station (using headphones).

Do you run training worldwide, in countries other than the UK?

Yes, but these are best done online, with the exception of Ireland.

If you absolutely need us to attend your site, we will endeavour to do so, however you need to consider:

  • Coronavirus travel restrictions may limit us.
  • There will be extra expenses for travel and accomodation (we will advise you of this added cost in advance).
  • We only offer workshops in English.
  • Check that the regulations in your country allow foreign visitors from the UK to provide training services.
  • You may need to arrange a work/business visa for our visit.

Do you charge more if there are more participants?

We would recommend keeping workshops to less than 50 participants as there is less time for discussion and questions. If you require more please get in touch to discuss your requirements.

Lunch time relaxation sessions are open to up to 100 participants.

About our Founder

Angela Wilshin


Angela is a Wellbeing, Life/ Business Coach & Hypnotherapist and the founder of Become Your Best. With more than 14 years’ experience in the fields of Positive Psychology (including Hypnotherapy, Coaching, Counselling, CBT and NLP). She has pioneered a creative and responsive approach to personal development training through a dynamic, challenging and extremely effective series of workshops that are designed to deliver results. Alongside workshops, she runs coaching/therapy 1:1 sessions with a limited number of private clients.

Angela’s first career was as a Senior Systems Programmer in a global financial services company. After having children, she successfully retrained as a teacher but became ill with Chronic Fatigue /ME. In order to restore her energy and fully recover, Angela realized she needed to radically change her response to stress and reduce her anxiety levels. So, she trained in Positive Psychology techniques to achieve her recovery. After experiencing their transformative effects in her own life and approach to work, she became passionate about helping others. It was this that led her to strive to assist individuals and organizations to improve quality of life and performance at work, of good mental health and positive self-awareness.

Angela has the following qualifications: Life & Business Coaching Certificate accredited by The Association for Coaching, Hypnotherapist certificate accredited by The General Hypnotherapy Register, NLP Practitioner Certificate accredited by The Association for NLP, Initial Post Professional Award in Counselling Skills awarded by Anglia Ruskin University, Teaching Certificate from Trinity College, London and a BA (Hons) Degree from Keele University. She has also trained at The Optimum Health Clinic, London in CFS/ME recovery, Stress and Anxiety. Angela abides by the strict code of conduct of The General Hypnotherapy Register. She also holds an enhanced DBS and works at Chelmsford College. Her favourite leisure activities for relaxation include: walking, cycling, netball and gardening.

Everyone has challenges in life. We're all on a journey and sometimes we need help to weather the storm. Some of the issues I've experienced include: loss, anxiety, panic attack, fear of flying, post natal depression, bereavement, parenting stress, estrangement, low self-esteem, weight problems, chronic illness, menopause. I'm not unusual and I still face stresses, large and small. But I'm happy to say that my techniques helped me to overcome these and enjoy life to the full.
